Get there

By Air

The nearest airports are:

  • Rome Ciampino Airport – 130km
  • Naples Capodichino Airport – 130km
  • Rome Fiumicino Airport – 157km

From Rome Ciampino Airport you will need to take the shuttle bus to Ciampino FS (station) and take the train towards ‘Cassino’.
From Rome Fiumicino airport you will need to take the Leonardo Express train from the airport terminal to Roma Termini, from here you will need to take the train towards ‘Cassino’.
From Naples Capodichino Airport, take the bus in the direction of Napoli Centrale (train station) and take the train in the direction of ‘Cassino’.

By Car

Coming from Rome:
Take the A1 Milan-Naples motorway and exit at Ferentino. Continue towards Sora on the Sora-Cassino highway towards Cassino. Exit at Alvito. From here continue to Alvito and follow the signs for San Donato.

Coming from Naples:

Take the A1 Naples-Milan motorway and exit at Cassino. Continue towards Sora on the Cassino-Sora dual carriageway. Exit at Atina Inferiore. From here follow the signs for San Donato.

Coming from the Adriatic:
Take the A24-A25 Roma-L’Aquila exit Avezzano. Continue towards Sora on the Avezzano-Sora-Cassino superhighway towards Cassino. Exit at Alvito. From here continue to Alvito and follow the signs for San Donato.

By Bus

From Rome:
Anagnina bus terminal, you need to buy a bus ticket (Cotral) and take the bus in the direction of ‘Sora’, once in Sora you need to change buses in the direction of ‘San Donato V.C.’.

From Naples:
Metropark bus terminal, you will need to buy your ticket on Flixbus.it from Naples to Sora.

Once in Sora, you will need to purchase a ticket for the bus (Cotral) in the direction of “San Donato V.C.”.

By Train

To reach San Donato Val di Comino, the nearest railway stations are at:

  • Sora:
    on the Roccasecca – Avezzano line
  • Cassino:
    on the Rome – Naples line

When you get to Cassino or Sora, you have to buy a bus ticket (Cotral) in the direction of ‘San Donato V.C.’ .
